Carol Hipps, DDS
Dr. Hipps is a native of North Carolina and grew up in Greensboro NC. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and also attended The U.N.C.- C.H. School of Dentistry. While a senior student at the school of dentistry Dr. Hipps was asked to help teach endodontics, [root canal] course to first-year dental students. Upon graduating Dr. Hipps was asked by the faculty to continue as a part-time instructor in the crown and bridge department while also practicing private dentistry. While practicing in North Raleigh, Dr. Hipps was also asked by the East Carolina School of Medicine to be an instructor in the Dept. of Family Medicine. She enjoyed working with the residents at the school regarding trauma and emergency dental treatment.
Dr. Hipps has three sons Michael, the oldest, is an attorney in Virginia, Matthew is a science teacher in Charlotte and Sam is a law student at U.N.C. – Chapel Hill. Her hobbies include biking, sailing and traveling as much as possible.
Dr. Hipps is committed to providing the highest possible standard of care to her patients. She attends frequent continuing education courses on the latest techniques and technology available in the field of dentistry.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Susan has been a practicing Dental Hygienist for over 37 years. She grew up in Illinois and has been in the Raleigh area since 1988. She is a mother of two grown children and her hobbies include running, playing tennis and gardening.
Karen has been a Dental Hygienist for over 35 years and has been working with Dr. Hipps for 20 years. She is a North Carolina native and a proud mother of three grown children. Her hobbies include gardening, running and cycling, along with playing stand up bass in “old-time” bands and at music festivals.
Hope has been in the dental field for more than 20 years. She began her career as a Dental Assistant and eventually moved into the front office and management. She is a North Carolina native and lives in Raleigh with her family. She has a passion for baking and loves going to the beach with her family.
Certified Dental Assistant
Lynn moved to Cary in 2011 from Pinehurst, NC. She has been a dental assistant since 1974 and looks forward to sharing her decades of experience with Dr. Hipps and her patients. Lynn is a Dental Assisting National Board Certified Dental Assistant. When not working, she enjoys spending time at Lake Gaston with her husband and dogs. Lynn also enjoys spending time with her granddaughter in Asheville, NC.
